SuperQueeros! for December 2nd, 2015

Have you finished your Christmas shopping? Here's some suggestions: Harley is starting a team-up book, Iceman is starting a new adventure as an out X-Man, and Midnighter is starting to solve the mystery of the God Garden. SuperQueeros: all that's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transexual, transgender, and queer in comics today!

All-New X-Men #1

Did you catch Dennis Hopeless' interview on Rachel and Miles X-Plain the X-Men about this book and Bobby's new queer identity? While we won't be seeing much of Bobby exploring his sexuality in this first storyline, this is the number one stop for stories starring your new favorite superqueero, time displaced Iceman! Plus, Oya, Wolverine, and Kid Apocalypse!

Extraordinary X-Men #3

Meanwhile, in the main X-book, time synced Iceman is fighting for the lives all our old favorite mutant superqueeros! Whose idea was it to stash the academy in Limbo anyway? And will the demon-fighting banter allow Iceman to come out to Northstar, the man he spurned while in the closet?

Teen Titans #14

Who are the Titans without Red Robin? This week Bunker, Garth, Power Girl, and the rest of the Titans figure that out as they set out to find their missing leader.

Midnighter #7

Who was behind the God Garden attack that bestowed metahuman tech on humanity? This week Midnighter finds out who has been empowering the baddies he has been bagging. Want a hint? It's the same dude who stole another celestial secret for the people of Earth a few generations ago...

Harley's Little Black Book #1

Haley's epic team-up series starts here and now! We've seen the tasteless and awesome adventures of Power Girl and Harley in their miniseries and now it's time to see what kind of tasteless and awesome adventures Harley can get up to with the rest of the DC universe! First up is Wonder Woman!

Prez #6

The president and her trans robot bodyguard take on the viral threat to her new nation!

SuperQueeros! for November 25th, 2015

Happy (American) Thanksgiving! This year I'm thankful that we got so many comics last week, because this week is pretty much a vacation for... SuperQueeros: all that's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transexual, transgender, and queer in comics today!

Justice League 3001 #6

Zeus is back with some new New Gods! Can our reincarnated heroes triumph over revamped deities? Oh, and someone dies! It's Superman, right? #jerk #alternatefuture

SuperQueeros! for November 18th, 2015

There are a lot of awesome, queer-inclusive titles out this week, so let's get to the listicle! SuperQueeros: all that's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transexual, transgender, and queer in comics today!

Jem and the Holograms #9

Now that the 'grams are celebrating the success of their first music video, who better to crash it than their perennial rivals and sometime girlfriends, The Misfits!

Extraordinary X-Men #2

Storm is gathering her extinction team and next on the list is an alternate dimension's version of her dead boyfriend!

Lumberjanes #20

It's mermaid warfare! Can the 'janes settle this conflict before it turns into World War Sea?

Secret Six #8

The crew continue their quest to right the magic of the universe!

Harley Quinn #22

Zena Bendemova is back and her name is amazing!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 10 #21

In light of the constant demon invasions, Buffy has to form an alliance with the very people she is sworn to slay!

Rachel Rising #37

Rachel is coming out as a dead person! But will the town help their resident zombie solve her murder?

Earth 2 Society #6

Spotlight on the Hourman!

Orphan Black Helsinki #1

The secrets of Helsinki come to light in this limited series! A break between seasons has never been so revealing.

Deadpool #2

Deadpool's solo series continues with a Kevin Wada variant cover!

SuperQueeros! for November 11, 2015

Oh em gee, the cover art game this week is ridonc. Take a selfie with your new comics this week because these issues are on fleek.

SuperQueeros: all that's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transexual, transgender, and queer in comics today!

Catwoman #46

The Queen Bae of cover artists, Kevin Wada, strikes again with this #gorgeo Catwoman cover. Look at that back tattoo! Look at that dress! But seriously, please, look at it for me. Because I can't. Because I literally died.

(Oh, also Catwoman #2, Eiko Hasigawa, is ditching the alias she shares with her ex, Selina, to take on the mantle of her Yakuza father and exact vengence on his killers. Unfortunately, due to operatic circumstances, that leaves Selina and her family right in Eiko's sights.)

Constantine the Hellblazer #6

What?! What is this cover you give us, comic book gods? Is this not John Constantine, the most famous magical bisexual (Editor's Note: Redundant, all bisexuals are magical.) on a date in a terrifying hellscape version of New York with the super hot dude he was cruising in issue #2?! Is this not specifically what I asked for for Christmas? Thank you, comic book gods, thank you!

Teen Titans #13

Ugh. Power Girl is so cool. Look at this cover: ameezing hair, a gold chest circle subtly referencing her namesake's signature costume feature, and a tiny blue jacket that perfectly foils Kara's tiny red cape. As the Titans regroup after Kon's apparent suicide, who better to turn this ratchet set of teens around than the coolest Power Girl not on Earth-2?

The Ultimates #1

This is it. Marvel's answer to The Authority: Blue Marvel, Captain Marvel II (a.k.a. Spectrum), Captain Marvel VII (a.k.a. Ms. Marvel), Black Panther, mother-luvin' Galactus, and most importantly, the biggest heavy hitter on this team, Miss America Chavez. For ultimate problems, you need ultimate solutions. And a dimension-kicking lesbian.

SuperQueeros! for November 4th, 2015

Someone on the cover of Extraordinary X-Men #1 is queer! And I'm not talking fan theories, people. This is canon! SuperQueeros: all that's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transexual, transgender, and queer in comics today!

Uncanny X-Men #600

Secret Wars was a big hit in all respects but one: it delayed the release of Uncanny X-Men #600 and left us in limbo on whether or not adult Iceman is as queer as his time-displaced younger self. This month we get the answer to that question and (spoilers, but not really)... he is! That means we get well-adjusted gay Iceman in All-New X-Men and broody, newly-outed Iceman in Extraordinary X-Men! Talk about one character representing a diverse community, am I right? Anyway, to celebrate we also get...

Extraordinary X-Men #1

The mystery of the post-Secret Wars status quo for mutants is that Terrigen is killing some of them and sterilizing the rest. Or, as I like to subtitle this scenario, welcome to Decimation II: Children of Men! Iceman is teaming up with Storm, Jean, and the rest of the X-Men to save the mutants or die trying. Personally I'm hoping for a combination of saving the mutants and Bobby finding out that Old Man Logan's new code name is Chicken Hawk...

Midnighter #6

With Bobby and Bobby out on the dating scene, Midnighter is left to represent the homosexual bourgeois fantasy of protecting your sweetie from the machinations of dastardly villains! But will Midnighter take into account that this beau is mortal, or will his assumption that every silver fox has a Kryptonian-level healing factor lead to some miscalculations in planning the rescue mission?

Harley Quinn and Power Girl #5

It's the climactic issue of this miniseries, which I have deduced because the solicitation is just a bunch of climax jokes.

Deadpool #1

Deadpool gets a number one! But will anybody buy it???

Hercules #1

Herc gets an ongoing series too. I heard that Marvel was planning to erase his bisexuality, but unless he makes a gross face at the idea of pashing dudes, I don't see how they will be able to penetrate my head-canon.

SuperQueeros! for October 28, 2015

Jinkies, Wiccan and Hulkling are going on a MCU tour this week... But more importantly, Alysia Yeoh is getting MARRIED! SuperQueeros: all that's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transexual, transgender, and queer in comics today!

Batgirl #45

Alysia's getting married! But why did she invite Grayson? And who will be crashing this wedding?

New Avengers #2

Will Wiccan and Hulkling survive their trip to France? Will Hawkguy be able to save his new teammates? Will sunspot just stay on his island the whole time?

Squirrel Girl #1

Only the second number one this year! In her new beginning Squirrel Girl pulls in a brand new cast of fellow Avengers, including Wiccan and Hulkling!

House of M #4

Wiccan and family are brawling for the fate of the House of M! Will they be able to overcome the entirety of the Atlantean army?

Adventure Time 2015 Spooktacular #1

Just in time for Halloween, Marceline goes on a solo adventure!

Chew #51

Time year time jump! The beginning of the end of the Chew saga begins now!

New Suicide Squad #13

Recovery issue! The team is putting itself back together and raising questions about The Question.

Justice League 3001 #5

A new Batman crunches into town, heralding the arrival of a brand new baddie!

SuperQueeros! for October 21st, 2015

After last week's new Avengers, it seems like the MCU is taking a back seat and letting DC and the other companies carry the queer banner. SuperQueeros: all that's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transexual, transgender, and queer in comics today!

Teen Titans #12

Now that the team knows the truth about Superboy's crime, it's time for them to dramatically walk away, leaving him physically abandoned and emotionally damaged! I think I read a fanfiction about this once...

Lumberjanes #19

April's bid to help the merfolk of the lake is not going as planned!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 10 #20

Buffy and Spike have a serial killer to topple, and Giles and Xander have a paranormal ex to investigate. That's right, Anya. Is she really the ghost of the best character ever, or is something more sinister going on?

Secret Six #7

Well Black Alice went and screwed up magic for everybody! But maybe she's also the key to fixing everything... Guest starring all the heavy hitter mages of the DCU!

Invincible #124

In the latest storyline, our hero gets sent back in time to before the series' massacre and he gets a second chance to interact with all those characters who died. Maybe we'll see Will Clockwell!
