"Hell on Earth War" concludes and someone "unexpected" will be sitting on the throne of hell. I would least expect Rictor, but given M's recent diagnosis, maybe X-Factor's invincible bad-as will choose to ascend to godhood rather than slump off this mortal coil?

Age of Apocalypse #14

X-termination continues in this, the final issue of Age of Apocalypse! I kind of love that Northstar, Howlett, and Herc are all on one team with Wolverine. With that character dynamic in play I'm hoping that they'll stop all the "smash and slash" long enough to have some squee sexuality moments!

Earth 2 #11

This is the best cover of the week, IMO. The solicit says that ANOTHER new character (SPOILERS) is going to show up, so the chances of some Green Lantern development seem slim... I am hoping, though, that Sam's death being a conspiracy leads to some sort of rebirth for the dead dude!

All New X-Men #10

Mystique and Sabretooth continue to plot! The Uncanny X-Men show up at the school to recruit some older students. It would be nice to see some more of the students... Maybe Anole will get some page time?

Archie Meets Glee Part 2! I wasn't sure how I would feel about this crossover, but Dilton's analysis of the parallels of Archie and Glee were nerd-tastic, Veronica getting slushied was sweet, sweet karma, and the prospect of Rachel and Archie in a Battle of the Bands against Josie and the Pussycats???? I'm pretty sure that moments like that is why I started reading comics. But what about Kevin and Blaine?????????

It's the heyday of the genderqueer as Wotan (originally a woman who Anya'd out, becoming a super-awesome magic-user to overcome her oppression by the patriarchy [Note: trigger warning if you look up what that oppression was], Wotan has switched bodies in order to extend zir lifetime and is now in the body of a man) faces off against Dr. Fate! Maybe later Wotan can join these Earth 2 Scoobies like zir Buffy-verse parallel! #fingerscrossed

Super-powered volleyball star Mara is coming out, this time as a metahuman! Now someone just needs to tell her that with great power comes great responsibility, most importantly the responsibility of staying alive once you catch the attention of the wrong people!

Archie Meets Glee, Part 1

Oh my gosh... I am SO buying this JUST so I can see Kevin meet Kurt (Klaine could mean something VERY different by the time this miniseries ends! Oh, maybe Kevin is the real Eli!), but whoever paralleled Quinn with Betty and Rachel with Veronica CLEARLY only sees the world through hair colors!

Oh, hey, did you guys know that Alan Moore wasn't just publishing a queers-versus-Harry Potter literary mash-up these days* but was also giving us an 80's-tastic, cross-dressing Beauty and the Beast/Christian Dior mash-up (source)? Unfortunately (at least for me) I haven't been able to find it digitally... But hey, be my superqueero and give me a shout if you pick it up IRL! Or better yet, if you see it in your virtual(ly local) comic book shop!
