Cain Marko is back and he's P.O.'d at the X-men! This time it's because... they killed his brother? I can only imagine he's mad that they did it before he could. Anyway, think he'll be the one to gain Cyttorak's power?

SO, Mystique is in charge, Lady Deathstrike figured out that Shogun's second personality is that of her dead beau, X-23 is playing lil' sis to one-armed Daken, and the last page of the last issue was the biggest ever reveal in all of OTP history! Anyway, this issue their plane gets attacked and all plans are put on hold.

Earth 2: World's End #21

Huntress and her grandpa, Batman, go to talk to Green arrow. Meanwhile, the unfridging of Green Arrow's boyfriend Sam was just un-undone when Alan absorbed his fiancé into himself so that he could become the Earth-2 version of the White Lantern and destroy Apokolips. Woo hoo?

I'm hoping that they mean Nightcrawler will be pulling a Buffy and sacrificing an eternity in heaven to schlep back onto this mortal coil (and have invisible sex with Spike), because anything else would just be yawn-city!

In this, the final issue of the unjustly cancelled Fearless Defenders, there's a new cosmically powered teammate, Caroline LeFey meets one of her parents, the Defenders make a stand against the Doom Maidens, AND we get some resolution to the whole Dr. Riggs/Valkyrie thing. That seems like a lot for a single issue of a comic book... Hopefully it won't be 32 pages of exposition like Infinity: The Hunt was last week!

As is customary in comics these days, the death of a classic hero heralds not inaction, but the beginning of a quest. Usually the quest is for the perished hero zherself, but for Nightcrawler of the X-Men the quest will be undertaken by his teammates: Northstar, Storm, Iceman, Firestar, Beast, and Wolverine have all banded together to get back the fun-loving demon-elf, and it's fixing to be AMAZING. No news yet on how this will affect Northstar's marriage...
